Minimum age 5 yrs. 5 - 9yrs must have a paying and participating adult (18yrs+)
with them and within arms reach at all times (1 adult to every 2 children in this age group).
all participants must be able to swim

Unique to this location:​

  • This is a tidal location:
    - for 2 hours either side of low tide, the slides and blob are closed, this is a great time for younger kids 
    - for older and more confident swimmers, we recommend 2 hours either side of high tide
    - see Metservice Wellington for Tide Times

  • If you have a food/beverage business within a stones throw/walking distance of Ngāmotu Beach let us know (Let's Chat / Contact Us bottom right hand corner of every page)  so that we can let people know where to find you and your opening hours
