with them and within arms reach at all times (1 adult to every 2 children in this age group).

This is a tidal location:
- for 2 hours either side of low tide, the slides and blob are closed, this is a great time for younger kids
- for older and more confident swimmers, we recommend 2 hours either side of high tide

Parking can be particularly difficult during peak times and the area heavily congested, please keep this in mind if you are dropping kids off as you may need to allow time for walking. To help with congestion, we recommend The Kaiteriteri Summer Bus which operates through the summer.
